Firefly Building To Spark Creativity In The Webster Station District (July 6, 2000—Dayton, Ohio)

Today, Cre8ive Dayton LLC, announced a $3.2 million reconstruction project of the 42,000 square-foot structure at 123 Webster Street. Named the Firefly Building, it will be a mixed-use facility with three luxury condominiums and 30,000 square feet of business use space.

The luxury condominiums, each over 3,000 square feet, will feature excellent views of the cityscape and the baseball stadium. The business lofts will feature open floor plans, an abundance of natural light and access to a roof top terrace, also with an incredible view of the ballpark and of the city.

The Cre8ive Dayton LLC partners envision a high-energy location that will attract residents that desire large, custom finished lofts with upscale amenities. The companies who locate in the Firefly Building will appreciate the loft-style work environment; the interchange between creative companies and the easy access to downtown and to Interstate 75 via Webster & Route 4.

The Firefly Building is in the heart of the historic Webster Station District and within walking distance of downtown business, cultural and entertainment venues. The Firefly Building will add to the viability of other development projects such as Fifth Third Field, the Cannery Loft Housing Project and Tool Town.

The Firefly Building consists of an original building constructed in 1910 which is a four-story structure with Art Deco-style facade and post-and-beam interior. In 1950, a four-story, poured-concrete structure was added doubling the size of the building.

The building is being redeveloped by Cre8ive Dayton LLC and is made up of five partners representing three businesses:

New Haven Construction, Inc.
Jeremy Tomb

Rogero Buckman Architects, Inc.
Barry Buckman and Mary Rogero

Visual Marketing Associates, Inc.
Steven Goubeaux and Kenneth Botts
